This model can be ideal for those who require strength training and cardiovascular fitness per a physician’s prescription. Note: Clients with specific health needs are required to bring the physician’s assessment referral form with them. Clients find this model of highly individualized attention and personal accountability to the trainer to be motivating. Meet our personal trainers:Founder and Exercise Physiologist Robyn Kretschy’s (ACE, NSCA-CPT) philosophy is grounded in the belief that a combination of exercise, nutrition and proper lifestyle choices is a means to gain a healthier lifestyle. Robyn is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant (LWMC) as well as an NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) certified Personal Trainer. She also works closely with ACE on their role deliniation team for the LWMC certfication standardization. If you are looking to make those necessary lifestyle changes through exercise and wellness coaching, Robyn will work very closely with you to ensure those changes take place and your goals are met. Robyn, as a multi-marathon runner and triathlete, also helps individuals meet endurance-race needs. Michelle Loftus, Exercise Coordinator, is our newest Healthy Results team member. Michelle, also a graduate of the Kiniseology program at University of Illinois. She is a fun-loving trainer, who's strength is in pushing clients to feel their strongest while assessing and correcting for proper form during workouts. Michelle focuses on toning and great at putting together workout programs to help you look and feel your best for any special event or simply everyday. You will feel the results of Michelle's workouts after the first session! Return to the top of the page. Resting Metabolic Rate testing (“RMR”), determines each person's individual calorie burning at rest. By breathing in and out of a mask for 8-20 minutes, the resting metabolic analyzer measures oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange, in order to measure RMR. This test assesses a person's energy requirements (calories) for daily function. Knowing your specific RMR is an invaluable tool for those trying to lose, maintain or gain weight. By knowing how many calories your individual body requires at rest and approximately how many calories you burn in activity during the day, you will be able to adjust your diet to consume the appropriate number of calories in order to achieve or maintain your goal weight.
